A Year at The Indians

Backlit at The Indians

The Indians are one of the most famous natural landmarks in the Virgin Islands. Located in the British Virgin Islands close to Norman Island and even closer to Pelican Island, they were named thusly because from a distance they were thought to look like a Native American chief’s war bonnet (sort of.) Just the tips of the feathers. Sticking out of the water. Use your imagination. Now squint.

The Indians are a great snorkeling spot and a favorite stop for day charters, including Island Wilson Excursions. We’ve been there a few times in the last 12 months and would like to share some of the photos with you. Hope you enjoy dem.
